Hamburh Leonid

Leonid Samoylovich Hamburh. Born on September 4, 1961 in Zaporozhye (Ukraine) in a family of history teachers. After receiving general secondary education in 1978, until 1981 he worked at an industrial enterprise and served in the army. In 1982-1987 studied at the Faculty of History of Zaporozhye State University. In 1987, he graduated from Zaporozhye State University, having received a diploma of higher education with honors in the specialty «History with an additional specialty in Law» and the qualification «Teacher of History, Social Science and Law.» In 1987-1988 – teacher of social disciplines of vocational school No. 34 in Zaporozhye. In 1988-1990. – teacher of social disciplines of the Zaporozhye city medical school No. 2.

Since 1991 he has been teaching at higher educational institutions (1991-1992 – Faculty of Law of Zaporozhye State University; since June 1992 – Classical Private University (Zaporozhye, Ukraine).

In 1995-1999 studied at the distance postgraduate course of the National Law Academy of Ukraine named after Yaroslav the Wise (currently – the National Law University in Kharkov, after which he defended in 2000 in the specialized academic council of the said academy a dissertation for the degree of candidate of legal sciences in specialty 12.00.01 – «Theory and history of state and law; history of political and legal doctrines». Thesis topic: «Judicial reforms in the Left-Bank Ukraine (Hetmanate) of the 18th century». In 2005 he received the academic title of associate professor. Since September 1, 2013 until August 31, 2015, he taught at the Faculty of Law of Zaporozhye National University, holding the position of Professor of the Department of History and Theory of State and Law.

From October 2015 to October 2018, he worked at the Vladimir Stashis Institute of Law of the Classical Private University (Zaporozhye) as an associate professor at the Department of Theory, History of State and Law and International Law. From November 1, 2018 to the present From October 2015 to October 2018, he worked at the Vladimir Stashis Institute of Law of the Classical Private University (Zaporozhye) as an associate professor at the Department of Theory, History of State and Law and International Law. From November 1, 2018 to the present – Associate Professor of the Department of Social Medicine, Public Health, Medical and Pharmaceutical Law of Zaporozhye State Medical University.

PhD in Law, Associate Professor. The range of scientific interests is the principle of separation of state power into legislative, executive and judicial; history of the judicial system and judicial reforms in Ukraine, forms of state-territorial structure, human rights in the field of healthcare. I have more than 130 scientific and scientific-methodical publications, including textbooks and monographs. One of the monographs was published in the EU countries: Гамбург Л.С. Awarded with several honorary diplomas from the rectorate of the Classical Private University, the Honorary Diploma of the Zaporozhye Regional State Administration «For conscientious work, high professionalism, a significant contribution to ensuring the protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens and on the occasion of Lawyer’s Day», marked with a sign «To the best teacher», noted with thanks from the rector of Zaporozhye National University.

 

Developed educational and methodological complexes and taught academic disciplines of the theoretical and historical and legal cycle, disciplines of branches of law constitutional, labor, civil law, economic, business, financial, criminal law, as well as a general course of jurisprudence for students of non-legal specialties and auxiliary discipline «Factors of successful employment by profession». At Zaporozhye State Medical University I teach medical law, pharmaceutical law, jurisprudence, I have developed the appropriate educational and methodological complexes.
